Broward House is Florida's oldest and largest HIV/AIDS community service organization providing housing and medical services to over 6,000 women, children, men and families each year. In an effort to help raise funds for Broward House, the Spirit of Hope Society was formed. Individuals can donate any amount, however, membership in the Spirit of Hope Society begins at $600 a year or $50 per month, charged to your bank or credit card. Main Street Rocks.
April 24, 2009 marked the most recent Open House at the new offices of Oakland Park Main Street. With the City of Oakland Park's re-development of "Main Street" (NE 12th Avenue), as well as the new Jaco Pastorius Park, now's the time to be a part of Oakland Park Main Street.
